How to use Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys at your local Z or participating Caltex station.
1. Simply scan your Flybuys card or app
To use and view your Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys in the Z or Caltex app, simply link your card.
2. Choose to ‘Use’ your fuel discounts to apply the discount.
If you choose to ‘Stack’, your discount will be saved alongside the Pumped Daily Discount and will expire at the end of the month after you purchased your discount from the Flybuys Store*
Important stuff:
- Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys apply to a maximum of 50L in a single transaction.
- Spend your Points up to a maximum of 600pts (for $4.50 off per litre). Where the pump price is less than your fuel discounts, the unused balance will remain on your Flybuys Account as Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys until it is used or expires.
- All fuel discounts expire and are lost at the end of the month after they are added to your balance. For example, if you redeem your Points for fuel discounts in January, they would expire at the end of February.
- Any member on your Flybuys account can use the Pumped Fuel Discount from Flybuys when they scan their Flybuys card or when you scan the Pumped QR code in the Z App or Caltex App after linking your Flybuys card.
- Minimum $40 spend required when stacking with Pumped.
- Find Participating Caltex sites here.
- Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys cannot be used with Sharetank or fuel card purchases.

- Convert your Flybuys Points to Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys on the Flybuys Store at flybuys.co.nz/store. For every 4 Flybuys Points you’ll receive a discount of 3c per litre off the advertised pump price of petrol or diesel (“Fuel”).
- Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys can be used once per transaction at Z and participating Caltex service stations when you scan your Flybuys card and apply once per transaction to a single Fuel purchase of up to 50L.
- Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys can be used by any card holder on your Flybuys Account. Any Pumped Daily Discounts from Z and Caltex stacked on your Flybuys card will also be combined and automatically applied to your transaction.
- You cannot purchase Pumped Fuel Discounts with Points + Cash and Pumped Fuel Discounts Flybuys cannot be used with fuel card or Z Sharetank purchases.
- Pumped Fuel Discounts expire at the end of the calendar month following the month in which they were converted from Flybuys Points. For example, if you converted your Flybuys Points to a Pumped Discount in January, your discount would expire at the end of February.
